Logo design project
I started scribbeling my name in notebook one evening, added circle shape around it and suddenly it became a face. I thought it would be fun idea to finish the skech and when I was happy with the pencil work I brought it to the illustrator and finished design there.
When I was younger I used to draw lot's of comics and write stories. It's very natural to me to laugh at myself and even draw short stories from my own life and fun thing that happen to me. So it is easy to picture myself in this cartoony character.
Lettering is my own handwriting and it has a whimsical and fun feeling. I love illustrating and I love drawing. I think this mark is very me.
I thinks I could start using this design on different social media channels or maybe if I some day have my own business this could be my logo or start of personal brand.
There are two versions of the logo, an illustrated one and a text logo. A text logo is used if the figurative logo does not fit the context of the publication or interface, or there is a risk that it will look scruffy.
I have planned a color scheme for this logo also and the names of the colors draw from my own lapland background.
This logo is byprofuct of a project that started in January 2023. The project itself is called "luottaaitteessa" and it is a scetchbook project. This design saw it's first daylight at march 2023 and I finished it in april. Our monthly theme was a word "stamp" and that encouraged me to try to create my own "stamp" or mark.
